SPECIALTY EXCAVATOR FORESTRY MULCHING
Waterfront Clearing & Shoreline Forestry Mulching
Overgrown lakefronts, shorelines and difficult banks are where an excavator-mounted forestry mulcher stands apart. Henson Land Management specializes in clearing brush and woody overgrowth along lake shorelines, pond banks, creek banks, accessible riverbanks, fence lines, drainage ditches, gullies, slopes and other hard-to-reach areas.

Pond Banks
Clear overgrowth along sloped pond edges where excavator reach and positioning can be useful.
Creek & River Banks
Selective vegetation clearing along accessible creek corridors and riverbank edges, subject to safe access and site conditions.
Fence Lines
Reach overgrown boundaries, fence rows and property edges while working from suitable ground.
Ditches & Gullies
Reopen overgrown drainage corridors and hard-to-access low areas.
Steep & Uneven Slopes
Use excavator reach to work vegetation on terrain where carrier positioning matters.
Hard-to-Reach Areas
Brush and saplings in awkward locations that are poorly suited to conventional skid-steer access.
WATERFRONT PROPERTY SERVICES
Lakefront & Shoreline Brush Clearing
Overgrown waterfront property can block views, restrict access and make routine maintenance difficult. Our excavator-mounted mulcher helps manage brush, saplings and woody vegetation on suitable lakefront and pond-edge terrain, with reach into areas that may be awkward for skid-steer equipment.
Lakefront View & Access Clearing
Selective vegetation mulching to reopen sightlines and improve access around waterfront property where permitted.
Pond & Shoreline Maintenance
Brush management along accessible pond edges and sloping shorelines, with attention to surrounding ground conditions.
Dock & Waterfront Approaches
Clear overgrowth around suitable access paths and approaches to docks without promising work in unstable or submerged ground.
Creekside & Drainage Corridors
Mulch vegetation along accessible creek edges, gullies and drainage corridors where site conditions allow.
Work near water may require landowner, HOA or agency approvals, and appropriate buffers or erosion-control measures. We evaluate access and scope before starting.

From Overgrown Shoreline to an Open Lake View
Our recent waterfront project demonstrates the difference selective clearing can make. Dense brush and undergrowth obscured access and views. Using our excavator-mounted forestry mulcher, we worked near the dock and shoreline to open up the property while keeping mature shade trees in place.
The job also included vegetation clearing along the roadside approach. The result is a more open, maintainable property and clearer views of the water.
Project photography: overgrown vegetation before clearing, excavator mulching beside the dock, the open waterfront afterward, and cleared roadside areas. We document different viewpoints accurately rather than labeling them as identical before-and-after camera angles.

Need conventional forestry mulching too?
We also offer skid-steer forestry mulching for larger acreage, open tracts, dense brush and high-production property reclamation. The specialty excavator does not replace the skid steer—we use each where it makes sense.
